Thank you for visiting the website of Omicron Phi Sigma chapter of  Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and on behalf of the officers and brothers of this great chapter, I would like to welcome you to our online presence!

Omicron Phi Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity is here to serve our community in the greater Fort Walton Beach/Crestview and surrounding area and in 2019, our cause continues to speed on its way and moving forward.  This year we plan on being extremely busy with our initiatives in Bigger and Better Business, Education, and Social Action, in an effort to reach the local Fort Walton Beach/Crestview communities with the highest level of excellence as we stand on our fraternity’s motto: “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity.”

A Word From Our Chapter 1st Vice President

It is with great enthusiasm that I, extend a warm and sincere welcome to each of you. Standing alongside our esteemed President, Brother Donald M. Woods, I am honored to reinforce our commitment to serving the greater Fort Walton Beach/Crestview community and its surrounding areas. Our dedication to Bigger and Better Business, Education, and Social Action remains steadfast as we strive for excellence in every initiative we undertake.

As we navigate the events of this year, our collective efforts aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those we are privileged to serve. The resonance of our fraternity’s motto, “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity,” echoes through our actions and guides us in all our endeavors.

About Our State Director Of BBB

As a member of the Fort Walton Beach, Omicron Phi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., in 20 18 Brother Greg Thomas was duly elected to serve as the Florida Regional Director of BIGGER & BETTER BUSINESS! Brother Thomas direction focus of the BBB administration will be to provide each chapter with the tools necessary to drive the programmatic initiatives under the umbrella of Bigger and Better Business. While striving to embody Phi Beta Sigma motto “Culture For Service and Service For Humanity” and promote brotherhood, scholarship and service.

Phi Beta Sigma Bigger and Better Business initiative became the first national program of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. It was first introduced at the Tenth Anniversary Conclave, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (December 1924). When Bigger and Better Business was adopted as a national program, special emphasis was placed on encouraging and promoting Black owned businesses. At its inception, the program sought to encourage Black owned businesses to improve their business acumen, efficiency and service to the public, to be competitive with other businesses.
